To import overseas scholars plays an important role in improving teaching quality and absorbing advanced teaching methods and ideologies. Foreign teachers and experts are an indispensible part of the faculty.

To attract the talents, Beijing Union University has set up the “Talents Import Project” and has through a wide range of channels invited famous scholars across the world to work here.  The former President of Korea, Dr Myung Oh and President of Athlone Institute of Technology, Ireland, Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, Professor Michael Thorne, President of Anglia Ruskin University are the members of the academic committee. Scholars from Sweden, the US, the UK, Germany and Japan, etc have been invited to take part in the teaching and research projects. The project also enhance the student exchange programmes and promote the research cooperation between local teachers and the foreign experts.

Our university provides nice accommodation to the foreign scholars and helps them in the application of visa, leave to stay and other related documents. Entertainment activities are organized regularly to enrich their lives.
