President Lu Zhenyang Meets President of Jungwon University

Beijing Jan. 21, 2016 (BUU) Prof. Lu Zhenyang, President of Beijing Union University (BUU), met Prof. Ahn Byung Hwan, President of Jungwon University (JU), Korea, in hope of promoting bilateral cooperation and signing agreements.

 

Prof. Lu Zhenyang extended his warm welcome to Prof. Ahn Byung Hwan. He said although China and Korea have different languages, their social formation is similar. He hopes that both BUU and JU should strive for deeper exchange and collaboration.

 

Prof. Ahn Byung Hwan talked about his experience as a visiting scholar in China and has been committed to the culture exchange between the two nations. He expects to open a JU branch school  at BUU so that JU could send exchange students to BUU and promote culture exchange.

 

Both sides reached an agreement on conducting cooperative educational programs, establishing featured Confucius Institute, and opening JU branch school at BUU. Later the two presidents signed Agreement on  Training Professionals between BUU and JU, as well as Agreement on Establishing JU Branch School at BUU.  

 

Also presented in the meeting was relating staff from College of International Education and Division of International Exchange and Cooperation.
