Beijing Nov. 3, 2015 (BUU) Prof. Zhang Liancheng, Vice President of Beijing Union University (BUU), meets Dr. Craig Austin Mahoney, Principal and Vice Chancellor of University of the West of Scotland (UWS), Dr. Jeanne Kerrel Deay, Vice Principal, and Mr. Wang Yanbin, Assistant to Director of UWS China Office.

 

Prof. Zhang Liancheng acknowledged the achievements in academic and scientific fields between BUU and UWS since the relationship was established in 2000. He expects the collaboration would optimize the educational and teaching resources and nurture more professionals with international awareness for Beijing.

 

Dr. Craig Austin Mahoney expressed BUU is UWS’ earliest partner in China and also a valuable partner. He hopes that two universities could undertake collaboration in the fields of film production, education and tourism.

  

Also presented in the meeting was relating staff from Business College, Tourism College, Management College, College of International Education, as well as Division of International Exchange and Cooperation.
