On June 1, a delegation led by Lin Yuexiu, President of Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism (KUHT) and Zhang Ruixiong, President of Taipei University of Business (TUB) visited Beijing Union University (BUU). They were received by Prof. Han Xianzhou, Chairman of University Council of BUU and Cao Changxing, Chairman of College Council of Tourism College.

In his opening remarks, Han Xianzhou warmly welcomed Lin Yuexiu and Zhang Ruixiong and expressed his expectations for stronger cooperation and exchanges with the two universities in fields such as smart travel, catering, hotel and commerce.

 

With high hopes regarding the improvement in the level of college through constant exchanges, Cao Changxing briefly introduced the development of the Tourism College in recent two years.

Later on, both the presidents thanked BUU for its hospitality. In view of frequent cooperation and large number of exchange students between BUU and KUHT over the years, Lin Yuexiu expressed hope for the establishment of KUHT's Beijing Alumni Association at BUU, enabling the alumni association to play its role for the development of both the universities. Zhang Ruixiong expected to work with BUU in fields such as teacher exchange and scientific research.

After the meeting, the delegation visited BUU's Tourism Practice Teaching Center.
