FedUni Delegation Visits BUU

On April 5, Zhang Liancheng, Vice President of Beijing Union University (BUU), met a delegation led by Andy Smith, Vice President of Federation University Australia (FedUni). Ji Xiaozhe, Deputy Chief of the Division of International Exchange & Cooperation, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Yao Wang, Secretary General of the Education Forum for Asia and Dong Songshou, Secretary General of the International Education Committee, Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy were present on the occasion.

Welcoming the visitors, Zhang Liancheng expressed gratitude to the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, Education Forum for Asia and International Education Committee for supporting BUU's international exchange efforts.

In the conference, after introducing respective universities, the two sides undertook to cooperate in vocational education, reaching the cooperation intention on establishing an international vocational education center.

Founded in 1870, FedUni is a government-run public university as well as an educational institution with the third-longest history in Australia. It has achieved a “five-star rating for teaching quality” in the Good Universities Guide for consecutive years. Its graduate employment rate and graduate satisfaction are ranked top in Australia. As a multi-field university with multiple campuses and locations, it offers higher education and vocational technical education training courses and provides industry-recognized professional training courses in fields such as automobile, IT and digital media and teacher training and assessment.

 

Heads of the Division of International Exchange & Cooperation, Training Center and College of Applied Science and Technology of BUU were present on the occasion.
